goodcryptoX Closed? Move Your Hyperliquid Bots to Anello

goodcryptoX's hosted service has shut down. How to clean up your Hyperliquid account and move your grid and DCA bots to Anello, step by step.

We checked goodcryptoX’s website on October 25, 2026. Its homepage banner reads “goodcryptoX has closed. We’re building the next chapter”, and its launch buttons now lead to a waitlist page that says “The hosted goodcryptoX 2.0 service has closed.” Its docs add that the hosted business model “was not sustainable, and 2.0 was shut down.” The team is now building goodcryptoX 3.0, a version you install and run yourself. Its docs say the 3.0 beta starts with Hyperliquid manual trading and the DCA bot. We could not find a closing date on either site.

goodcryptoX launched in 2019 as GoodCrypto, and its docs say it onboarded over 400,000 users. If you were one of them and want a hosted bot on Hyperliquid instead, this guide compares what goodcryptoX offered with what Anello offers, then walks through the move.

What the two had in common:

  • Grid and DCA bots on Hyperliquid
  • A non-custodial connection through a Hyperliquid API wallet that can trade but cannot withdraw
  • A per-trade builder fee on Hyperliquid instead of a subscription
  • A web app for manual trading next to the bots

Strategies

goodcryptoX

goodcryptoX offered Grid, DCA and Infinity Trailing bots on Hyperliquid, plus advanced manual orders like trailing stops and multi-target take profits. Grids came in Neutral, Long and Short modes, with 2 to 250 levels, arithmetic spacing by default and an optional log (geometric) mode. Its DCA bot was an averaging bot: it entered a position, added orders as price moved against you, and closed with a take profit. TradingView webhooks could start or cancel any order or bot.

Anello

Anello has two bots. The grid bot places buys below the current price and sells above it, with geometric spacing only, so every level targets the same percentage. The DCA bot buys a fixed USD amount on a schedule and never sells. A manual terminal covers spot and perp orders. There is no Infinity Trailing bot, no TradingView webhook support and no averaging-style DCA. goodcryptoX’s lineup was broader.

Pricing

goodcryptoX

On Hyperliquid, goodcryptoX charged a builder fee instead of a subscription. Its docs list a base fee of 0.1% on futures trades and 1% on spot sells, with no fee on spot buys. Discounts for trading volume, GOOD token holdings, a subscription or an NFT could lower that. On centralized exchanges it used subscriptions instead of trading fees.

Anello

Anello charges 0.02% on spot sell fills only. Spot buys carry no Anello fee, so DCA is free apart from Hyperliquid’s trading fee. Perp trades in the terminal carry 0.01% per fill. The full math is in fees and risks.

Custody and keys

goodcryptoX

goodcryptoX registered a Hyperliquid API wallet for your account and kept its private key in its own storage. Its docs say this let goodcryptoX place orders but never withdraw funds. The API wallet expired after up to 6 months.

Anello

Anello uses the same Hyperliquid feature, called an agent wallet. Each grid or DCA bot gets its own agent, and the terminal uses one more. You approve each one from your own wallet. An agent can place and cancel orders but cannot withdraw or transfer funds. Approvals last up to 180 days, and you can revoke them on Hyperliquid at any time.

Markets and venues

goodcryptoX

goodcryptoX was a multi-exchange app. Its docs list over 30 centralized exchanges, spot DEX trading on Solana and EVM chains, and Hyperliquid spot and perps. Grids ran on perps as well as spot, with leverage. It had apps for Web, iOS and Android.

Anello

Anello is Hyperliquid only, by design. The terminal trades spot and perps. The grid and DCA bots trade spot only, so the coins they hold are owned outright, with no leverage, funding or liquidation. Anello is a web app with no native mobile apps.

Previews and backtesting

goodcryptoX

goodcryptoX’s grid form drew the levels on the chart as you edited them. It showed the estimated profit per level after exchange fees, the funds needed and, on perps, the largest position the grid could build. We found no backtesting feature in its docs.

Anello

Before a grid launches, Anello shows every order it will place, with its exact price and size after Hyperliquid’s rounding rules. What the preview shows is what gets placed. For DCA, the preview shows the whole plan: the amount of each buy, when each one runs, the total, and the USDC it needs. You can also backtest the exact settings over the last 7, 30, 90 or 180 days of Hyperliquid prices, with fees. Fills inside a candle are approximate, and past results are not a forecast.

Migrate from goodcryptoX to Anello

Clean up first, then rebuild.

  1. Check Hyperliquid for orders goodcryptoX left open. Orders live on Hyperliquid, not on goodcryptoX. Open your account on Hyperliquid, look at open orders, and cancel any that came from an old bot. Note each grid’s range, number of levels and order size first if you plan to rebuild it.
  2. Remove goodcryptoX’s API wallet. goodcryptoX’s connection guide created it on Hyperliquid under More, then API, and suggested naming it “goodcryptoX”. Hyperliquid’s API wallet docs list three ways an API wallet is removed: it is deregistered, it expires, or the account that approved it no longer has funds. Until one of those happens, it can still trade for you, even though the service holding its key has closed. Anello can also remove it: open the wallet menu, choose agents, and look under other, which lists agents approved on your wallet that Anello did not create. If the goodcryptoX agent has a name, it has a remove button there.
  3. Connect your wallet to Anello and open the grid or DCA screen.
  4. Recreate a grid. Pick the same spot asset and enter the lower price, upper price and grid count (number of levels). Anello sizes in USD, so multiply your old base-currency order size by the middle of your range for a rough match. The minimum is $20 per order. Spacing will differ slightly, since Anello uses geometric levels only.
  5. Or recreate a DCA. Set the USD per run, how often it repeats, and an optional number of runs. Remember this is a scheduled buy, not an averaging bot.
  6. Check the preview. Click preview grid or preview schedule. For a grid, read every order’s price and size and the required assets. For DCA, check each buy’s amount, the schedule and the USDC needed. Run a backtest if you want a feel for past behavior.
  7. Launch. Click create bot. Your wallet signs the approvals Anello asks for, such as the builder fee (if not yet approved) and the bot’s new agent. The agent can place and cancel orders, but cannot withdraw.

Perp grids and Infinity Trailing bots cannot move over one to one. If you want a grid on the same coin, rebuild it on the spot market, without leverage.

Need help?

Start with the Anello docs, especially how grid trading on Hyperliquid works and DCA on Hyperliquid. You can ask questions in our Discord, follow @AnelloApp on X, or email [email protected].

Nothing in this article is financial advice. Grid and DCA bots can lose money, and past results do not predict future ones.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to my goodcryptoX bots on Hyperliquid?
goodcryptoX's site does not say. Its bots ran on goodcryptoX's servers, so with the hosted service closed, nothing is managing them. Limit orders the bots placed live on Hyperliquid, not on goodcryptoX, so some may still be resting on the order book and can still fill. Check your open orders on Hyperliquid and cancel the ones you no longer want.
Do I need to revoke goodcryptoX's access?
You should. goodcryptoX connected through a Hyperliquid API wallet whose key was stored on its servers. An approved API wallet can still place and cancel orders for your account until it is removed or expires, even if the service behind it has closed. It cannot withdraw funds, but removing it is the safe default.
Can I move a goodcryptoX perp grid to Anello?
Not one to one. Anello's grid and DCA bots trade Hyperliquid spot only. You can trade perps by hand in Anello's terminal, but there is no perp grid. If you want a grid on the same coin, you can rebuild it on the spot market, without leverage.
Is Anello's DCA bot the same as goodcryptoX's DCA bot?
No. goodcryptoX's DCA bot entered a position, added averaging orders if price moved against you, and closed with a take profit. Anello's DCA bot buys a fixed USD amount on a schedule and never sells. If you used goodcryptoX's DCA to accumulate, Anello's DCA is a close fit. If you used it to trade in and out, it is not.
What does Anello charge?
On spot, 0.02% on sell fills only. Buys carry no Anello fee, so DCA is free apart from Hyperliquid's own trading fee. Perp trades in the terminal carry 0.01% per fill.
