Anello vs Gainium: Features and Fees Compared
How Anello and Gainium compare for bot trading on Hyperliquid: strategies, fees, custody, markets and backtesting.
Anello and Gainium both run trading bots on Hyperliquid. This page compares them.
Gainium details were checked on its own website and help center on 2026-10-25. Prices and features change, so confirm them on gainium.io before you decide.
What the two products share:
- Grid and DCA bots on Hyperliquid. Both run DCA on spot markets.
- A Hyperliquid agent wallet for trading. It can place and cancel orders but cannot withdraw funds.
- Your funds stay in your own Hyperliquid account.
- Pay-per-trade builder fees with no subscription required.
- Backtesting before you launch.
- A manual trading terminal next to the bots.
The rest of this page covers where the two differ, so you can pick the one that fits how you trade.
Strategies
Gainium
Gainium has more strategy types. Its Hyperliquid page lists grid, DCA and combo bots (a grid that adds a mini grid with each DCA order), bots triggered by TradingView webhook signals, and trailing stops built on top of Hyperliquid’s API. It also describes running long and short bots on the same pair through Hyperliquid subaccounts, since Hyperliquid has no native hedge mode. Its HIP-3 help page adds Max Gain AI bots and hedge bots.
If you want signal-driven or combined strategies, Gainium has them and Anello does not.
Anello
Anello has one grid model and one DCA model. The grid uses geometric spacing, so every rung is the same percentage apart and each completed cycle earns the same percentage wherever it fills in the range. DCA buys a fixed USD amount every N days, weeks or months and never sells. The terminal covers manual spot and perp trading with market, limit, stop, scale and TWAP orders.
Pricing
Gainium
Gainium offers two ways to pay on Hyperliquid. In its no-subscription mode, it adds a builder fee of 0.07% to spot sells and 0.045% to both sides of perp trades. Its paid plans run from $15 to $109 a month ($12 to $87.20 a month billed yearly). Paid plans add no builder fee but use bot credits. A flat plan gives heavy traders a predictable cost, which a per-trade fee does not.
Anello
Anello has no subscription. It charges 0.02% on spot sell fills and nothing on spot buys. DCA only buys, so it carries no Anello fee. Perp trades on the terminal carry 0.01% per fill. Hyperliquid’s own trading fee applies on top, as it does on Gainium.
Take a spot grid cycle that buys and sells $1,000. Anello’s fee is $0.20. Gainium’s no-subscription fee is $0.70. The full math against grid spacing is in fees and risks.
Custody and keys
Gainium
Gainium connects through a Hyperliquid agent wallet. Its connection guide has you create the agent on Hyperliquid’s API page, copy its private key, and paste that key into Gainium along with your main wallet address. Gainium says the agent can submit trades but cannot withdraw funds, and your main wallet key is never exposed to the bot.
Anello
Anello also uses agent wallets, but you never handle the key. When you create a bot, Anello creates an agent for it and asks your wallet to approve it on Hyperliquid. Each grid or DCA bot gets its own agent wallet, and the terminal has one more. An agent can place and cancel orders. It cannot withdraw or transfer funds, its approval lasts at most 180 days, and you can revoke it on Hyperliquid at any time.
On either platform, agents place real orders. Non-custodial does not remove market risk.
Markets and venues
Gainium
Gainium connects to Hyperliquid and eight centralized exchanges: Binance, Binance US, Bybit, OKX, KuCoin, Coinbase, Bitget and Kraken. On Hyperliquid its bots trade spot and perps, including HIP-3 markets such as tokenized equities, indices and commodities. Its pricing page also lists an open-source, self-hosted Community Edition.
If you run bots on several exchanges, or want automated perp strategies, Gainium covers that.
Anello
Anello supports Hyperliquid only. Its grid and DCA bots trade spot only. That means no leverage, no funding and no liquidation price on a bot position: a grid that falls below its range holds what it bought and waits. Perps are available on the terminal, by hand.
Previews and backtesting
Gainium
Gainium offers backtesting against historical data and paper trading to test a bot configuration. Its pricing page says in-app backtesting runs in your browser and is unlimited, including on the free plan.
Anello
Before you launch a grid, Anello shows the exact price and size of every order it will place, already rounded to Hyperliquid’s rules. What the preview shows is what the bot places. For DCA, the preview shows the whole plan: the amount of each buy, when each one runs, the total, and the USDC it needs. Anello can also backtest a grid or DCA setup over historical candles, using the same prices, sizes and re-posting rules the live bot uses. It shows the fill assumption it makes inside each candle. Backtesting is free. Anello has no paper trading mode.

Frequently asked questions
- Is Anello cheaper than Gainium?
- Without a subscription, yes on spot. Anello charges 0.02% on spot sell fills and nothing on buys. Gainium's no-subscription mode adds 0.07% to spot sells and 0.045% to both sides of perp fills. Gainium's paid plans, from $15 a month, remove its builder fee, so a high-volume trader on a paid plan may pay less there. Hyperliquid's own trading fee applies on both. Checked on 2026-10-25.
- Can Anello run perp bots?
- No. Anello's grid and DCA bots run on Hyperliquid spot only. You can trade perps by hand on Anello's terminal. If you want automated perp grids, DCA or combo bots on Hyperliquid today, Gainium offers them.
- Are Anello and Gainium non-custodial?
- Both trade through a Hyperliquid agent wallet, a signing key that can place and cancel orders but cannot withdraw funds. Your funds stay in your own Hyperliquid account on both. With Gainium you create the agent on Hyperliquid and paste its key into Gainium. With Anello, the app creates an agent for each bot and your wallet approves it.
- Does Anello have backtesting like Gainium?
- Yes. Anello can backtest a grid or DCA setup over historical candles before launch, using the same order prices and sizes the bot would place. It is free. Gainium also offers backtesting, and paper trading, which Anello does not have.
- Do I need to move my funds to switch from Gainium to Anello?
- No. Both trade your own Hyperliquid account through an agent wallet. Stop the Gainium bots, cancel their orders, revoke the old agent, then set up the bot on Anello against the same balance.
